A woman who was allegedly stabbed outside a Sydney gym by her ex-partner has been released from hospital.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, was allegedly stabbed in the neck, back and ear by her ex-partner, Anthony Monteleone, outside Crunch Fitness in Alexandria on Wednesday.
She was taken to hospital in stable condition after the alleged attack and was released from hospital on Friday morning.
She told 9News she’s still scared, but wants to warn other women about domestic violence.
Monteleone is said to have previously breached two AVOs against him issued by the woman.
Monteleone appeared at Manly Local Court on Friday via video link from Surry Hills Police Station wearing what appeared to be a hospital gown.
He surrendered to the police on Thursday, when he was subsequently arrested.
